Here’s the Missing Link to Article Marketing Success - Hint: It’s Not What You May Think

One key part of being successful in article marketing is having somewhere for your readers to go once they’ve read your article. The link included in your resource box is one of the most valuable parts of the article marketing process because it brings you all the benefits everyone craves:

  • more subscribers

  • more traffic to Web sites and blogs

  • higher sales of products and services

  • influence and respect in chosen industry/niche

That is all great, but if you don’t have a link at the bottom of your article where people can find out more about you there’s really no point in writing and distributing the article at all.

In fact, this one key element ?” having a Web site ?” is a major barrier to some people who want to gain access to all the great benefits of article marketing but just don’t have the time, money or expertise to publish their own Web site.

I found a solution to this problem and it’s one of the easiest and most hassle-free ways I’ve found to implement the last piece in the article marketing puzzle.

*** Create a blog. ***

You can use the URL or web link, from the blog you create and put it into your articles. This is actually better than a normal Web site because people can leave comments on your blog. This shows that people are engaged and interested in what you’re saying and offering.

It is very easy to do. And it costs you absolutely nothing.

  1. Visit www.blogger.com I’ve used this service to create several blogs and it’s always been a hassle-free experience for me. Each year they make the service easier and easier to use.

  2. Follow their steps for creating a no-cost account on their service. Blogger makes it very easy to create one of these. All you really need to do is just follow the steps they tell you and you’re done. You don’t need a programmer or a techie person to help you out with this one.

  3. Enter information about your business in the blog. I suggest posting short, informative pieces of information about you and your business. I call them mini-article. You can also post your full articles on the site as well. If you have a large group of articles like I do, you may want too space out those articles and only post a few a week.

  4. Place the URL from the blog you just created in the resource box that you include in each of your articles. OK, if you’re wondering what a URL is, it’s very simple. It’s the Web address that Blogger.com will give you for your site.

After completing these easy steps you’ll have no barriers to entering article marketing.

Let’s review:

Here’s what you put in:

  • writing an article

  • distributing to article directories

  • creating a blog for link-backs

    • Cumulative cost: $0

Here’s what you get out:

  • larger list of subscribers

  • more influence in your industry

  • more visitors and comments on your blog

    • Value: Priceless

Keep in mind: Blogs are better because they allow others to say how great your articles are. When new visitors come to your site they’ll be influenced by previous comments and leave good words of their own. Once you have this set up you’ll be able to concentrate fully on writing info-packed articles that truly benefit your target audience/niche.

This isn’t a commercial for Blogger.com, but it really is the easiest way to set up a blog. If you want to try out a few other services consider: www.wordpress.org

I use Word Press for one of my other blogs and I like them, too. I did need a bit of help setting this one up. But in the end it was well worth it. See for yourself: http://www.articlemarketingformula.com/blog

Why Google Knol Will Dominate Wikipedia

As some of you may have become aware, Google has announced that later in 2008 they will be going forward with the project known as “Knol”. Knol will be a sort of hybrid between about.com and wikipedia.com. Like wikipedia, there will be entries for nearly every topic, place, person, there is that means anything in the world. Unlike wikipedia, knol will be solely published by one individual and then that individual will be allowed to accept new entries for that given topic, edit and change the topic, and be credited for writing the entry.

Knol will have a unique voting system that will allow Google, to in a way, rank how informative the entry is. Unlike wikipedia, where just any person online can come and ruin an entry by putting fake information into it. This has become a major issue with wikipedia over the years as so called “internet terrorists” have somewhat ruined what could have been an amazing web information portal.

Why will Knol eventually overtake Wikipedia in terms of internet traffic?

As you probably know, Google accounts for nearly 60% of all worldwide internet searches. What you may not know is that Google is responsible for approximately 30% of all of wikipedia’s traffic. Now if Google starts listing their own knol entries in the search results, in place of, or above wikipedia, we will see a major shift in traffic from wikipedia to Googles knol.

Google, unlike wikipedia will actually reward those authors of an entry by allowing them to share in the ad dollars brought in by all of their knol entries. This will provide incentive for experts in each field of work to share their knowledge with the internet community, and more then likely tear them away from wikipedia. Why would they spend hours sharing information on wikipedia when they can spend the time creating knol entries, and earning residual revenue for their work? The answer is, simply they won’t.

Google has tremendous power behind it, not only in terms of marketing, but also in that they are able to improve upon already existing ideas with amazing speed and efficiency. Knol should begin their beta by March of 2008.

Web Hosts - Choose Wisely For Business Success or Choose Badly For Failure and Frustration

Compare Web Hosts for Satisfaction and Not Sorrow

I have been a web master for about 8 years now. In this business that makes me an ancient. One benefit of experience is having already stumbled over a lot of newbie mistakes so I can (hopefully) avoid those mistakes in the future. I am sure I can find plenty of new mistakes to make.

One of the most important aspects of my business, and one thing that can make or break me no matter what else I do right, is finding a reliable web host. Most of us who build, promote, and maintain websites do not keep our own servers. We usually rent space for our websites from a web hosting company.

Servers Need To Be Up and Fast

If we build the perfect website, but the servers are not kept up most of the time, we cannot make any money because nobody can get to our website. Even worse, we may have paid for website traffic through search engines and other websites. Or we may have worked very hard to develop articles and links to drive traffic to our own site. None of this will do us any good if our website is down. Instead of getting the word out about our business so we can make money, we will be clenching our teeth and watching our money evaporate.

And not only does the website need to be on a hosting server which is functioning, if we have a lot of traffic, it also needs to be fast. I do not believe that anybody has a shorter attention span than a web surfer. If a potential visitor clicks the link to your site and has to wait for several seconds for it to load, they will most likely give up and try another website. We have too much competition to have our own server working against us!

Hosting Needs to Be Flexible and Reliable

We may have a small account with only one website, then expand to a product called reseller hosting which allows us to have multiple websites, and finally rent our own server that we can control. So it is also important to find a host with flexible plans so that you can expand when you need to. If your website starts out small, you may purchase a basic plan. But if your website grows, you want to be able to upgrade your hosting plan without any trouble. So I would suggest looking for a company that has a variety of flexible plans from starter hosting to dedicated servers, and that has a policy of making it easy to upgrade.

The last thing I look for is a host that has been around for awhile, and that will be around in the future. I have had to change hosts three times because the company went out of business, and believe me, it is really a pain. It is always difficult to transport complex sites from one host to another, and it almost always involves downtime. I consider the task of moving from one hosting company to another almost as difficult as moving homes, and it is expensive, time intensive, and frustrating.

It is also nice to be able to choose between Windows and Linux as an operating system. Both types of hosts have many of the same features, but they also have some critical differences. You should be able to decide which operating system you are comfortable with.

Affiliate Marketing Scams - This Is Not A Scam

Here is how I finally starting making real good money on the internet.

I was hoping to find a chance to start earning easy money on the internet and I heard some people were doing so I figured why couldn’t I.

I had to try a few different programs because I did not know where to start looking since I was new to this. A couple of different get rich scams where I ended up losing money instead of making it. They were complete garbage and a waste of my time.

Finally I heard of affiliate marketing. I heard some success stories of people making several thousands od dollars after their first month. I looked into a couple different affiliate communities where I could learn all the information and resources on affiliate marketing.

The online community that I decided to join was called the wealthy affiliate. It is an amazing learning place with every thing there is to know about succeeding online. I was able to catch on the work so easily. The best part about it is there are thousands and thousands of people like me who help each other out and try to make each other some money.

Any question I had I was answered by the more experienced marketers. Some of them even show you step by step how to do the work, all you gotta do is ask them and they will be glad to help.

I would say that this affiliate marketing program is definitely not a scam. I was able to see amazing results of after just my first month. After my first month doing this just part time I brought in about $1200 and after my second month over $3000. Six months later affiliate marketing has given me the opportunity to be making over $1000 a day. That is about $30,000 a month.

I am just trying to give some advice to some of those people who are struggling financially or are just trying to make a little something extra on the side. Anyone can be an affiliate marketer it is that easy to do. I would recommend affiliate marketing to anybody out there who is looking for a way to make more money and I promise you that it is not a scam.

Yahoo Reverse Phone Number Can Help You Identify An Unknown Caller

Did you know that you can use Yahoo reverse phone number lookup to find out the name and address of an unknown caller whose number may be showing up on your landline or cellular phone’s Caller ID? Finding out who a mystery caller is can be very important, particularly if the unknown caller phones frequently, or is harassing you.

Learning the identity of an unknown caller will help you determine what course of action you should take to make the phone calls stop. For instance, when you perform a Yahoo reverse phone number search, you may discover that the unknown call is a friend who’s playing a joke on you, or it could be a stranger playing a prank, or a telemarketing company attempting to bypass the law by secretly trying to contact you if you have registered your phone number with the National Do Not Call Registry.

Another bonus when using Yahoo as your search tool is that it is free to seek the personal information linked to the phone number you are looking up. As long as the number you are searching for is not an unlisted landline number, you will receive the name, address, map location, and directions of the individual.

You need to keep in mind, however, that the Yahoo reverse phone number service only includes American landline residential and business phone numbers in their database. Therefore, if the number you are looking for happens to be an international phone number, a wireless number, or is an unlisted landline number, you won’t learn any details about the mystery caller you are attempting to identify.

Remember that while Yahoo reverse phone number is a great service, it is not the only service available. There are plenty of websites online that offer free landline and cellular reverse phone lookups. Therefore, you don’t need to limit your search efforts. Should Yahoo not be able to provide you with the information you are looking for, use other sources such as reverse phone number lookups.

Is Your Business Ready for a Dedicated Server?

Is my business in need of a dedicated server? That is a questions you may ask yourself over and over as your business grows. Plus, as the world becomes increasingly digital, you recognize the need for information safety and convenience is crucial to business. What is a dedicated server and do I really need one? This is a question that may haunt you as a business owner or manager. The key to answering these questions is to educate yourself on dedicated servers and their role in our world of business, and you and I both know that you don??t have a lot of time already, so it may be best to at least take a few minutes here and familiarize yourself with dedicated servers and how they affect business.

A dedicated server can best be described as a web hosting solution that allows you to own the entire server. It is, as the name would imply, dedicated only to you and thus not shared. There are countless types of dedicated server available for purchase, but what you likely want to know first is whether or not you actually need one for your business.

If you are even looking at the idea of a dedicated server, then you likely have a business website. If so, the daily use of your internet is something that will help determine whether or not you should go the way of a dedicated server. For instance, if your site has more than 3000 users daily, you should probably think seriously about dedicating a server. Also, if you notice a slowing down of your website, that may be a sign that your business would be better off and more efficient with a dedicated server.

Once you have done your research and decided that maybe a dedicated server is what is best for you and your business, you need to determine what kind. There are two main kinds to think about: managed and unmanaged dedicated servers. If you choose an unmanaged dedicated server, you are buying the server and the equipment you need to run it. On the other hand, if you go with a managed dedicated server you will end up with all of the equipment you need in addition to help in getting it set up and maintained. In that case you will end up with no worries except the content of your website.

So once you have figured out that you need a dedicated server and that it should be either managed or unmanaged, you need to figure out where to get it. The best place to research your dedicated server purchase is online. There are a number of server dealers and manufacturers that have great websites. In addition, you can look for reviews of different servers by people who have bought and used them. By doing your research ahead of time, you can help yourself to make a good purchase.

Deciding whether or not to make such a big business move as buying a dedicated server can be difficult. You should take the time to measure your company??s needs against the cost of making a large purchase like a managed or unmanaged dedicated server. If the numbers work out right, a dedicated server can be a great value to your company, increase your business, and raise your efficiency. On the other hand, you can end up spending a lot of money you didn??t need to spend if you jump into such a purchase blindly. Just make sure you take the time to evaluate your server needs and then to research any purchase you choose to make. With a little education, you will certainly make the right server decision.

#1 Reason Why You Just Lost a Sale From Google AdWords

Take a deep breath. You just lost a potential customer a few seconds ago. I’m not joking. They just left your site or affiliate link without buying anything from you. Why?

Because when someone clicks on your Google PPC ad, you’ve only won half the battle. Unless you get them to take action right then and there, it’s almost dead-certain you’ll never get them back to your site again. In the same position, ready to buy. Doesn’t that make sense?

Understanding Adsense

There are a lot of people out there making a lot of money using Adsense - however most of them are not telling their secrets - well not for free anyway.

I am going to assume a few things in this article to cut down the amount of introductory comments I have to make. Here is what I am assuming:

1. You have a blog/website. Most of the following tips will apply to other types of websites also.

2. You have read overview of Adsense and have some understanding of what it is.

3. You have read the program policies as outlined by Google. These give details of site eligibility, ad placements and other requirements for using the system.

The next question is: Is your blog suitable for Adsense? - Before you rush into signing up for Adsense expecting it to earn you a million dollars it is worth asking the question of whether Adsense is the right revenue strategy for your blog/Website.

There are some amazing success stories out there but I will be concentrating on only few elements that will impact your Adsense earning capacity the most:

Adsense revenue, traffic levels, high paying ads, relevant ads and optimally positioned and designed ads.

Every above elements contribute to the total revenue that your Adsense ads will produce. You should have all these elements as strong as possible, because otherwise it will hold back your potential earnings.

Traffic is of course very important, because the more people that see you Adsense Ads, the more likelihood there is that someone will click on them. Work on increasing your traffic levels and you should see an increase in your Adsense Revenue.

High paying ads are giving you the best payoff, if you don¡¦t have a list of high paying keywords, scroll down this article and click on the link on the bottom to go to getmemoney.net, and you will get 20 top paying adsense keywords to build your blog/website around.

Your ads have to be relevant. The ads are displayed by content of your blog/website, so increase the relevancy of your Ads to your content and you are one step closer to increasing your Adsense revenue.

The ads have to optimally positioned. You can choose any color scheme and position your ads anywhere on your blog/website, make sure they are visible and not outside content of your page. Put them in strategic places and blend them in the color scheme or your page.

How do you increase the traffic to your webpage then?

Quality, Interesting, Useful and Original Content - What are the blogs that people read the most? This is essential to increasing your readership unless you have some amazing trick to bring readers in.

Be generous with your links to other bloggers/websites big and small. You¡¦ll be surprised how many links come back your way. This not only brings traffic from their sites but helps your ranking in Google.

Update frequently. If you don’t update your blog/wesite content in over one month the previous interested readers will not come back.

In my next article I will be concentrating more on how to get more traffic to your website. Feel free to visit my getmemoney.net page (link below) for the highest paying adsense keywords at the monment.

SEO Do’s - Webmaster’s Checklist

Small businesses are increasing in number like never before on the world wide web and this calls for an awareness of the necessity to know the basics of search engine optimization as well as stay equipped to implement them for optimizing their websites for search engines. However, there is a lot of misinformation or false information regarding the SEO strategies and tactics. The following lines should throw a light on some SEO do’s, presented as a checklist to help realize your SEO goals.

First off you need to have a set of keywords that are used by majority of users. Keyword discovery and wordtracker offer free and paid versions to assist you with keyword research. The Google AdWords keyword tool can also help you for the purpose.

Never assume that SEO is a one-time event or investment because the search engine algorithms are dynamic elements and change at the blink of your eye and thus the SEO strategies and tactics that you have worked for the season may not work this season. Search engine optimization requires a solid long-term commitment as well as outlook.

SEO strategies and tactics do not result in instant rewards. There are webmasters that wait for many months with patience to reap the benefits many months. This is more applicable if you are a relatively small webmaster coming new to the world of online business. If you are hiring an SEO consultant you must know the kind of tactics he will be using. Ask for risks and specifications.

Go to the level of a student to learn about SEO tactics if you want to optimize your website for search engines. It is indeed a great experience to learn and resources on net can be dug and used. There are many e-books on the subject and even online courses offered. You may do research and take the help of any of them and master SEO tactics.

Starting with clearly set SEO goals and web analytics software should help you to analyze and give a feedback of those SEO tactics that are working and those that are failing to deliver.

For the topic or keyword, try and develop a best site and compare it with those of your adversaries and try to improvise yours if you feel so. But be true to yourself. Including a sitemap will help the search engine spiders to crawl into all of your web pages. A sitemap also help the spiders grasp the hierarchy of your website.

Try to devise URLs that are search engine optimized as well. A tip is to add a hyphen in your URL that is regarded as a space by the spiders.

Starting a PPC campaign with major search engines, it is not only a search engine marketing tactic but it helps a webmaster in giving an understanding of the keywords that are performing the most. If you are not on a tight budget ignore this as an SEO tactic.

As a new entrant into the online marketing industry, I acquired the SEO ethics from a self-motivated Internet marketing expert and an EDC Gold and EDC Diamond top earner. If you are keen to know more of his Internet Marketing Strategies he is ready to tell you.

The EDC webmaster also offers mentoring to his members and gives them valuable and workable strategies to generate targeted web traffic and help them convert the same into sales. If you are keen to learn about EDC as a home-based opportunity and how the top earner works along with his members visit this EDC Gold And Diamond Marketing and Training Site.

Benefits of Pay Per Click Services

Pay Per Click services have provided a great deal of welcomed help to many web masters. It is known as one of the most popular methods used by advertisers to display their products and services on the internet. Fundamentally, pay per click advertising is a relatively low cost method of generating increased traffic to your website.

Several other benefits include:

Fast and Friendly

Using pay per click services provides you with traffic almost right away. It is extremely fast in traffic generation and works great to let people know that your website and business exists. Customers search for your specific keyword and they find you. This means that only people looking for what you have to offer are finding your advertisement and are ready to visit your website.

Easy To Understand

It is easy to understand how pay per click services work. To get the best spot for your advertisement within the search engines, you will have to bid as high as you possibly can. The concept is easy to comprehend. The person bidding the highest will receive the highest spot within the results and the second highest bidder will be second and so on.

Customize Your Pay Per Click Campaign

The great thing about this form of advertisement is that you can delete, add, and adjust your keyword as necessary. Many other types of advertisements are generally “set in stone” - so to speak and in order to change your marketing strategy, you would need to create another advertisement and start a new. With pay per click advertisements, all you need to do is perform some changes to your keywords.

Fits Any Budget

Because you have the ability to bid on your keywords, you have the ability to set the price you are willing to pay. The great benefit is that you only pay when your advertisement is clicked upon. If you do not receive any clicks, you do not have to pay, it’s that simple. You can identify how much you are willing to spend each month and set your pay per click account to that amount. Another great advantage about pay per click services is that when you do receive a click, you know that it is within your targeted audience, which means you are much more likely to receive a sale from that click.

PPC Advertising offers potential for smaller business

Pay per Click Advertising enables small and medium sized enterprises to compete very successfully against the large national / multinational companies. Pay per click creates a level playing field for small businesses, and by careful choice of PPC parameters your ad can show above those of large business or multi- nationals.

Pay per click services are ideal for any business that is looking for a customisable, easy to use, and efficient way to advertise their business and generate targeted traffic, which then turns into potential sales and income.

Pay per click advertising can also give an immediate return on investment - especially if your website can process business/sales. online.
